2In this video I take a look at Kotodama: The 7 Mysteries of Fujisawa* a visual novel with light match three elements.
If you buy this thinking it's a match three game you will be disappointed, the match three aspect is very infrequent but when it does occur it becomes unlocked in the main menu so you can jump right to it and try to achieve it's goals. BUT, If you buy this as a visual novel you will be very pleased. The visual novel aspect is very well made and has a intriguing story line beginning with our introduction to an invisible fox that lives on the shoulder of the main character. Some of the story gets quite dark though as an animal cruelty ring is uncovered, I would like to have seen some police involvement there but they did break it up I suppose. Anyway, if your after a good visual novel with some match three on the side then this is your game!
