The very first racing game on the Sinclair ZX Spectrum, CHEQUERED FLAG. Written by Steve Kelly of Psion Software and Published by Sinclair Research in 1983. "Your car has been accurately programmed to model the dynamics of a real racing car." Erm, ok. A good game for the time none the less.
