We really see the grips of master chief humanity, and it is kind of cool. You see him go through this and just him dealing with it and slowly coming to grips and dealing with the trauma from the weapon. It is crazy to know how much stuff is behind weapon and just the problem it causes. It is really traumatic for the chief, and he does not trust her. it is an odd dynamic but kind of cool
