Child of Eden [Bitrate trick watch in 1440p60] part 1
Here is the intro https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvX5EQLDLIo
I wasnt able to record it cause it literally shows up all of once the first time you turn on the game and never again.
This is a sequel to REZ and it's quite fantastic. It's a short arcade style game released in 2011.
One of it's biggest "selling points" was the use of motion controls on all systems it was released for. Thankfully they were smart enough to not make it the only control method (I don't imagine being able to beat this game with motion controls no matter how accurate). The box doesn't state it clearly enough, which explains why even tho this game got quite a warm reception when it came out, quickly vanished into obscurity after everyone (rightfully) deemed motion controls on PS3 and xbox 360 dumb.
I'm using a controller in this playthough (even if I had PSmove I'd throw it into the dustiest corner of my room), and I play on the normal difficulty I dont aim for any specific scores I just want to show off this awesome game. I have played through each level twice before (aside from the final boss which I only beat once) so I'm not gonna suck that badly. I recorded this in the highest quality I could muster from my elgato.
This game (unlike REZ on the dreamcast) actually runs at 60 frames all the way through, with lots of details, objects, particle effects, lighting and all the other good stuff that looks like mud on youtube, which is why I used the bitrate trick in this one as well.
For this one I'll be uploading a 30 frames version later on as even with the bitrate trick this game proves to be too much to handle for youtube at 60 frames
