The Donkey Kong Land games are the "little handheld siblings" of Rare's Donkey Kong Country series. And they're pretty swell games in their own right.

In hindsight, the first one is probably the most interesting, since it's the only one that is not just a "down port" of the SNES titles, but a completely unique game.
