In Chivalry 2, the Highland Sword is a beast of a weapon. It's absolutely massive and deals a tremendous amount of damage due to it's sheer size. The Highland Sword is, however, very slow. You'll want to take into consideration your situation at every engagement. If you're facing an enemy in a 1 on 1 fight, do they have a faster weapon? If so you might want to swap to your faster, backup weapon.

The Highland Sword in Chivalry 2 SHINES in big team fights. You'll want to take advantage of the strong overhead attacks to not only deal a ton of damage, but to also avoid hitting your teammates with the giant blade.
