Is Cult of the Lamb Too Easy? Beat Almost Half The Game Without Dying.
8Today's Cult of the Lamb gameplay video features the fourth (and final?) boss in the game. After going on a bit of a rampage through the third and most of the fourth zone without dying, I'm about to attempt the fourth boss, Shamura, for the first time.
As expected, I take out Shamura on my first attempt. Then I talk a little bit about if I think Cult of the Lamb is too easy on the developer-recommended difficulty level.
My thought on what difficulty to play as in Cult of the Lamb: I think that people who are not regular gamers or people who don't normally play roguelites would likely benefit from the recommended difficulty. But people with faster reflexes and/or who regularly play roguelites will probably be able to play the harder difficulties for a more rewarding experience.
Of course, there's more to Cult of the Lamb than just the dungeon runs. There is the whole resource and cult management aspect of the game that has its own difficulties, albeit much duller skill level required to handle those.
