Chō Jikū Yōsai Macross: Scrambled Valkyrie is a side-scrolling shoot ’em up game released exclusively in Japan for the Super Famicom (SNES) in 1993. Developed by Winkysoft and published by Zamuse, it is based on the classic Super Dimension Fortress Macross anime series.
Despite never receiving an official Western release, Scrambled Valkyrie is considered one of the best Macross games and a hidden gem on the SNES. It is highly praised for its challenging gameplay, excellent mechanics, and faithful adaptation of the Macross universe.
