Chompy: The Greedy Crocodile is a fun and casual game where you will get to control Chompy a cute and greedy croc that has this insatiable appetite for gold coins, yeah, he just got to have it all...the are a total of 30 levels in the game that you need to go through by the way, each one of them will feature a number of gold coins for you to collect, you will start out with a couple of coins and then eventually will become more and more, even the levels will be quite simple at first, but after several levels it will become more complex, you will be encountering different obstacles here, like gaps, fireballs, moving platforms and some nasty fiery creatures that will burn Chompy to death on contact, yeah, it will be quite a challenge alright but it sure is going to be fun collecting those gold coins across the levels, the game also features a timer by the way, but not to worry as it won't affect your game that much even if it will take you quite a while to collect those coins, so get ready to run and jump...help Chompy complete his tasks and try to get all the gold coins in all 30 fun filled and challenging levels the game has to offer.

Graphics and Sound

The graphics seem nice, not really very high in details but everything looked pretty, the character is not very high in details too but Chompy still looked kinda cute and cuddly, he looks a bit blocky by the way but still nice overall, the level designs are also nice enough, the different levels are made up of platforms of different designs, the early levels are small and simple while the higher levels are bigger and more complex featuring a variety of obstacles for you to tackle, colors are kinda nice too although there really isn't that many colors used, it is quite soft to the eyes and very nice to look at, the animations and movements are also cool, movements are quite brisk and the moving obstacles have nice animations, music is great, it has this jazzy tune that somehow makes you want to play just a little bit longer, sound effect is also good, it is quite varied enough so as not to get you bored, while the special visuals are really simple but still nice, overall, the simple graphics and the cool presentations are enough to make the game looking pretty and nice.

Gameplay

The game is very easy to play, all you need to do here is to collect all the gold coins scattered throughout the levels while dodging and evading obstacles at the same, and if you beat the game in record time, you'll be awarded with a crown at the end of the level, it is quite easy to play too, all you need to use is the arrow keys to move the croc and the space bar to jump, you can also drop down to the platform directly below you by pressing the down arrow key...very simple indeed.

Conclusion

I like this game, I really had a great time here, the level of difficulty is very moderate which would make the game very nice for younger players...chomp! chomp!...looks like Chompy our cute little croc is hungry again.
