The tomb has kept an awesome gem and it’s only a matter of time until someone gets his hands on this treasure. Be the first to take this giant gem in this 3D run and jump game called Tomb Runner. Your goal here is to keep your character alive for as long as you can. He will run on the platform and you just need to control his movements to avoid crashing on the obstacles and traps along the way. Collect as many gems as possible as you run, so you can unlock new characters with cool designs and funny names.

Aesthetics:

The game uses 3D models that have a slightly realistic look to it. The character models have that human look to it but still have a mix of some cartoonish elements as well as the non-human characters. The graphics for the terrain also has that good look and the game has fluent animation especially during those turning points. The music has an intense jungle theme to it but having that fun factor as well. Then again if you are running in a tomb in the jungle you would want to hear that adrenaline pumping beat as if something was after you.

Gameplay:

The gameplay for Tomb Runner is a third person free runner type. That means that your character is always moving. You can make your character go to the left or to the right but it will always reorient to the middle of the road after a couple of seconds from going to the left or right. You can also make your character jump from obstacles on the ground or to avoid pitfalls. Then finally you can make your character slide down to avoid obstacles as well. The objective here is to not get struck by any of the obstacles. If the character is hit or falls down the pit then the run is over. When the run is over, it goes back to the beginning with a new run. The other objective is to get as far as you can. There is no end zone as it is all about going the distance. It’s also a good challenge to get farther from where you were the last time. There are points in the game where you have to be fast with your hands and reflexes especially during the turning points and with continuous obstacles. There are also coins that you can get in each run. Regardless if the run fails, you can still get the number of coins that you got. Plus the coins will stack up. The more coins you have means the more characters you can unlock with the use of these coins. The characters don’t have a distinction though in terms of gameplay but they all look different and they even have a mummy and a disco dancer. There are also power-ups in each run. These would range to a magnet, a shield and a double effect for coins. Each run will generate a different level which makes it all the more challenging.
