Okay Horror is a strong word but it's trying its best. Choo Choo Charles is the first horror game I can really think of that's tried to be open world and it does it to some success. Unfortunately, a lot of the bugginess and lack of optimization in-game lead to a lack of immersion and therefor spookies. Personally, I feel like could have used a few more months in QA to get it running better because I'm running it on an RTX 3090 at 1080p and I can't even hold 60fps whether or not I've got DLSS on. Regardless of the quality of the game, if it was YouTuber Bait or horror for kiddies, the core gameplay loop is fun and it doesn't outstay its welcome.
