Some people have asked about how to choose a mechanical keyboard, these are the basics that I'd consider first. There's also media keys and other special functions to consider, but you can game on pretty much any board.

By the way, there's no such thing as a completely quiet keyboard, but Cherry Reds, or Cherry Silent are fairly good.
