Choppa is a pixel-art take on the helicopter rescue game genre that was very popular during the flash browser-gaming days. This means we steer our chopper through physics-based procedurally generated levels while rocking it out to sweet rock'n'roll 80s soundtracks and saving people by picking them up.
The game is made difficult because of the many obstacles, like cranes, seagulls, and even oil pipes-turned-flame throwers, and if we ever get bored with the normal game mode, there's a surprisingly difficult survival mode to dive into as well.
The controls work well (especially if you switch to the joystick setup in the settings), the game's offline playable, and with plenty of upgrades and new choppers to unlock using in-game gold or through iAPs, the game easily provides 10+ hours of fun.
The game shows quite a few forced ads between levels, and there's sadly no iAP to remove them, which is the game's biggest flaw.
