Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 259 The Decisive Battle in the Uninhabited, Demon Infested Shinjuku 31

In a flashback within Jujutsu Kaisen 259, Yuji, Choso, and Kamo are shown together. Kamo educates Yuji about Blood Manipulation and Convergence, stepping in as Choso struggles with teaching. Fast forward to the present, it's revealed that Sukuna's flame, can only be activated through a specific process termed "dismantle and cleave." Despite its impressive abilities, this flame lacks speed and has a limited effect range. During this time, Sukuna imposes another binding vow on himself to enhance his capabilities.

The plot thickens as Uraume informs Hakari that they have triumphed, stating that Sukuna's flame will eradicate any beings within Sukuna's domain. However, before the flames can reach Yuji, Choso intervenes. Sacrificing himself, he creates a blood barrier to shield Yuji, apologizing for his earlier inadequacies in training. Choso's final words to Yuji are heartfelt, thanking him for accepting him as a brother.

Amidst this turmoil, Yuji begins to lose hope, believing that everyone inside Sukuna's domain has perished. At this critical moment, Todo arrives on the scene, bolstering Yuji’s spirit. A brief flashback reveals that Todo and Mei Mei had previously devised a plan to rescue those trapped inside Sukuna's domain using Todo's Boogie Woogie Cursed Technique. They had kept Yuji unaware of this plan to prevent Sukuna from inadvertently learning about it.

Back in the present, Todo reassures Yuji that the sorcerers are safe, and together, they rush towards Sukuna. The narrator then reveals a significant development: Sukuna is experiencing difficulty using his Cursed Technique due to burnout after his domain expansion, setting the stage for the next confrontation.
