You can tell chrome to open a new tab page when starting the browser by going to the settings. Here under "On Startup", click on
"Open the new tab page".
By default, the new tab page shows Google's logo, a search bar, and thumbnails of your most visited sites.
You also have the option to continue where you left off. All of the recently closed tabs will reopen and you can literally continue where you left off.
Lastly, you can tell chrome to open a specific page or set of pages when you open up the browser.
We will set your homepage which will open up when you click on your home icon.
Go back to your settings and under "Apprearance" turn on "Show home button".
Here you have the option to again set it to a new tab page or a custom page. Copy and paste the link to the chosen website in the text box.
