We have come a long way! Game 100 is Final Fantasy VI. Game 200 is Chrono Trigger. And now, we begin an episodic playthrough of the 300th game featured on my channel: Chrono Cross on the Sony PlayStation 4! This is the sequel to Chrono Trigger as you control a brand new mute protagonist named Serge as he travels through two different versions of his world. For gameplay, you can still make parties of three but every character now has it's own Element Grid which can let the users use their three Techs each stronger than the last, consumables and spells. But it order for the Elements Grid to used, the user must land an attack or more if their Stamina gauge is more than one. Speaking of the Stamina gauge, they're like a modified version of the ATB bar where normal attacks ranging from levels 1-3 will consume depending on the level or if you use the Element Grid, the entire Stamina gauge will be used. It's best to perform a combo attack followed by a Tech for big damage!
This could be the part where I say something about this game but...there's going to a review during the final part of this playthrough. So you all better check it out! In the meantime, enjoy the playthrough!
