Chrono Cross - stream 17
3Recap: Serge's party reaches the room where Riddel is being held beneath Viper Manor, and after a fight with Hell Orcha (who joins the party afterward), they're able to free her. Norris escorts her to safety outside the manor while the party creates a distraction. They have a fight with Grobyc, and a defense robot called Guillot. Guillot seems to regenerate every time they defeat it, so they're forced to break out of the manor through an unconventional route. Among the chaos, Grobyc decides that he respects the party's strength, and chooses to join them.
Before heading to Hermit's Hideaway, the party makes a stop in Guldove, where Orlha is in the middle of fighting off a handful of invading Porre troops. She mistakes the party for reinforcements and fights them too. Serge's party manages to avoid injuring Orlha too badly, and tricks the Porre troops into leaving. Orlha gives Serge a keepsake and tells him to return to her when he regains his original form.
Before leaving Guldove, they show Direa the shattered Dragon Tear, and she gives them a Dragon Emblem with the promise that it would get them into the shrine in the other world. At the other Guldove, Steena is shaman instead of Direa, and she's willing to lend the intact Dragon Tear to them once they've awakened all of the dragon gods of El Nido.
At Hermit's Hideaway, General Viper has recovered. Marcy, Zoah, Radius, and Riddel are present, and Riddel asks to join the party. Suddenly explosions ring out, and Kid's voice calls from above, ready to fight Lynx. Lynx in Serge's body is also there, seemingly having a strong enough hold on Kid that he's able to explain right in front of her that she currently sees Serge as Lynx and thinks only of killing him. Karsh recommends retreating, and conveniently, Fargo shows up with a flying mount and brings them to safety on his ship.
Planning their next steps, Viper claims that Lynx is at the Sea of Eden, and must be prevented from reaching the Frozen Flame at all costs. Viper, Zoah, Marcy, and Fargo all join the party at once. Harle tells that the entrance to the Sea of Eden has been sealed by the 6 dragons, and they'll need relics from each to get in. Serge will also have to return to his true form to be able to get in.
