I apparently can't say "back to the past" without thinking of Samurai Jack.
Anyway, with the controls change in this episode, it occurs to me that now all three of my main series are on controls other than what they started with. I wanted dedicated melee and block buttons in CrossCode, I wanted more precision than my D-Pad allowed in Celeste, and in this I just wanted working controls.
After this episode I did immediately test my controller in a couple other games. It's actually just this one that gives me problems. Maybe something about not respecting dead zone settings?
