Those three monsters are the next bosses. The Mud Imp controls the two beasts by riding them and making them crash into our characters or enraging them by shooting rocks. The Red Beast is weak to water, the Blue Beast is weak to fire. I should have probably brought Marle or Frog instead of Ayla because without a water attack, killing the Red Beast takes a while. After the two beasts are gone, the Mud Imp hardly even fights back and we can destroy him. The way to Mt. Woe where Melchior is supposed to be is now open. One enemy to point out is the Rubble, an enemy who gives 1000 exp and 100(!) tech points, but locks all our techs and evades most attacks. He doesn't fight back either but he retreats after a while so these bonus fights are about being lucky and hitting the Rubble before he retreats.

Note: I really want that Charm skill now. I've already missed some good items and Tabs and I don't wanna miss any more of them. The Rubbles on Mt. Woe _will_ help us learn this spell. Items I missed from the Beasts' Nest: R'bow Helm from the Beasts (cuts lightning damage in half), Speed Tab from the Mud Imp, Elixir from the Red Beast and MermaidCap from the Blue Beast (cuts water damage in half). The enemies on Mt. Woe have even better items.
