Finally, we have a Let's Try game for the PS1 that is actually dope.

Darius Gaiden for the Sega Saturn is simply one of the best games ever made. Despite being 25 years old, it's perfection in the 2D shooter genre - a lot of this is due to the fact that the Saturn specialized in 2D games. The PS1 focused a lot more on perfecting 3D games, whereas the Saturn, whatever was going on inside of it, made 2D games amazing.

G Darius is pretty similar to Darius Gaiden, but doesn't quite have the sheen of the Saturn version. As we mention, there are sometimes where you can't see the bullets because of the colors in the background, and it's not quite as smooth as the Saturn version, but it's still very worthy, nonetheless. Looks like it's about a $30-40 game, so I would say it's worth it if you're really into 2D shooters --- honestly, most quality 2D shooters on the PS1/Saturn/etc are going to cost you a bit more anyway.
