... WITH GLACIER MALLET! (or not?)
Hello! This is a test recording of my new Danmakufu boss, Ko-- I mean, Meimu! It's almost finished (still in beta), but I plan to develop this a bit more from its current state. The battle is based on the depiction of Meimu in Touhou Nekokayou, the webcomic made by Kimiko Muffin, and so, I guess the last two spellcards are a bit spoiler-ish... I'd have used the theme Kimiko Muffin made (Edge of Spacetime ~ Navy-Blue Generation), which is awesome, but I didn't ask for permission and thus decided to go with Unknown X instead. I'll provide a download link soon for this beta if people is interested.
The backgrounds are mostly provisional; I'll try to get a better depiction of Meimu's Gap Land for the final version.
The spellcards Meimu uses are:
- Edge Sign "Youkai's View of Topology"
- Time Sign "Broken History"
- Life and Death "Four Edges of the Netherworld"
- Paradox Sign "Trainwreck of Past and Future"
- "Navy-Blue Generation"
- Evil Spirits "Meimu's Spiriting Away"
- (Last Spell) Wave-Particle "Little Hadron Collider"

Ah, and randomly, the Meimu sprite is a pixel-edit of Concealed the Conclusion's Reimu (W) sprite I made; I did it from memory, so it doesn't look like her create.swf portrait... Anyways, if anyone'd like to use it, feel free (even though some credit'd be nice...); the backgrounds are random renderings made with GIMP, and it uses ExpandedShotDatav4, made by... I don't remember. Meh, my memory fails~ I didn't make the Cirno player, it's available on danmakufu-wiki, if I recall correctly.
