What is CISS Printer?

#CISS stand for - Continuous Ink Supply System printer that has been #homeMade modified to use larger external ink tank with 100 ml each to supply the ink into the cartridge. It's very #cost #saving and #economical printer system that could possibly saved users with tonnes of money in home or commercial used. In terms of economical benefits compare to using original ink is like 5 to 1 ratio - especially for those who prints a lot. Here is comparison based on my experience

Photo Prints (4R size) colored - CISS prints 1000 photos vs Original ink prints 100 photos
Documents normal (black / white) - CISS prints up to 4000 to 5000++ documents vs Original ink less thank 1000++

Apart from the ink being #cheap 3 times less than the original factory manufactured ink the volume is 6 times more. Typical original printer ink is around 15 ml to 30 ml each while the CISS ink tank can hold 100 ml each tank for all the CYMK (Cyan, Yellow, Magenta Black) colors.

This is a test print review for HP C4580 that has been modified to use the external CISS ink tank reservoir.
