Who knew I hadn't appreciated the Bazaar - now I know better. Arabia is here with its amazing ability to spread religion (50% more effective through trade routes - regardless of who's it is!) and double-oil resources. The Oasis tiles also get a boost so it's acceptable to wander the map for hundreds of years looking for signs of life. Luckily, the Sandstorm map isn't a barren desert - almost the complete opposite (water flows and there's even snow!).
