Time to play one of the most powerful civs in the game, Mongolia! Their buffs are both war-focused and devastating. For starters, the entire civ gets 30% power against city-states & their units, which makes them quite helpless before the Khan.

The mounted units all move faster so we fly across terrain. The great generals, khans now, have an enhanced medic buff for nearby soldiers and incredibly movement speed. Finally, the Keshiks are crazy horse archers that replace knights; they ignore city defense penalties, generate khans faster, possess accelerated exp. gain and can move after shooting. You never see the keshiks coming, nor get a chance to even fight back against them.

Note: This is still before Beyond Earth, meaning I don't have the patch that changed tradition, warmongering, etc. as of this game. This will be true for the next one or two that I post as well.
