CJ Simulations Rafale M Istres Le Tube Grau-du-Roi Salagou Millau Viaduct Gardon Pont du Gard Istres
This is the CJ Simulations Rafale version 1.0.5 with the Rafale sounds, and bugs fixes, new liveries...
This is the French Navy Rafale M.
This is not a study level aircraft. This Rafale is a bit more powerful than the real Rafale, which I personally like, as no aircraft is ever "too powerful"!
If a pilot says an aircraft is "too powerful", then the pilot is too weak...
In order to help viewers go to events of interest, here is a detailed, but non-exhaustive, description:
From 00:00 Assistance options, weight and balance
From 00:46 to 01:35 pressing the Printscreen key affect the right leg of the pilot; it "jumps"
From 01:50 Turning on the aircraft, APU start, then engines start
From 04:20 Central display Map: settings and displaying the Flight Plan created before starting the flight
From 06:40 loading 2 MICA and optical pod
From 07:48 taxi to runway
From 09:55 Take Off !
From 10:17 Gear up
From 10:00 a bit high to get dust blown on the runway!?
From 11:10 low and fast pass over the runway
Following the Flight Plan, but also exiting it slightly to show places of interest
From 15:19 Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer
From 16:52 Espiguette beach, Port-Camargue, Grau-du-Roi
From 18:35 Aigues-Mortes
From 22:18 Montpellier: airport and city
From 24:25 temporarily leaving the flight plan path, to show Lac du Salagou, from 25:20
From 29:50 rejoining the flight plan
From 31:50 supersonic pass over Aérodrome de Millau-Larzac
From 32:30 Millau town with loop over the town
From 33:30 aerial dance with the Millau Viaduct
From 40:00 half loop, for a supersonic pass under the Millau Viaduct and over Millau town, then over the Dourbie river. Flying Eastwards.
What beautiful Aircraft and Scenery!
47:30 Gorges du Gardon
48:00 Saint-Nicolas-de-Campagnac Bridge
49:00 Nîmes-Courbessac Aerodrome and military training ground (Camp Des Garrigues)
49:55 back to the Gorges du Gardon
50:32 Collias
50:45 to 53:40 Pont du Gard
51:40 Circuit de Lédenon
54:45 following the Flight Plan towards Istres airbase
55:25 Tarascon and Beaucaire, both towns are on the opposites sides of the Rhône River
From 57:00 over Istres runway
From 57:45 climb, half roll, half loop for approach and landing
59:48 full stop after landing to show we don't need much runway to land! This is not an F-104!
From 1:00:30 taxi to park
From 1:03:30 park
From 1:04:47 engines off, and outside view
From 1:05:30 pressing the Printscreen key affect the right leg of the pilot
From 1:06:35 look at these details! What a beautiful aircraft!
A small typo, from 1:07:59 "ATTENITON".
From 1:11:50, for those who don't know yet, there is a small bug:
If the canopy is already open, when we turn off the aircraft, or when the battery runs out in this case, the canopy re-opens.
Here, I let the avionics on until the battery ran out, so it would turn off itself.
From 1:12:40 APU on, to listen to its sounds
From 1:14:40 APU off
From 1:15:17 outside view and fast climb with the camera drone for a high altitude view
Enjoy the sounds, and the details of that Rafale!
I CAN'T THANK THE AUTHOR OF THIS MAGNIFICENT FIGHTER JET ENOUGH! I love this Rafale, and proof of this is that I keep using it
The CJ Simulations Rafale was bought on the MARKETPLACE, as it is only available on the MARKETPLACE!
Important note: for PC, in the folder
...\Official\OneStore\cjsimulations-aircraft-rafale\Documents
we can now find 5 manuals and the weapons in the
cjsimulations-aircraft-rafale-weapons.rar
file.
Just unzip this file, and drop it into your sim's Community Folder, and restart FS.
In this folder there is also a text file, v1.0.6.txt, with the following info:
"- Repaired foreplanes animations not colliding with the fuselage."
I wonder why it is named "v1.0.6.txt", as we are now in v1.0.5 ...
The scenery is FRANCE VFR SUD-EST-RIVIERA MSFS from France VFR.
Airport is Istres Le Tube.
Thanks to FRANCE VFR SUD-EST-RIVIERA MSFS, we now have some airbases, as Flight Simulator has them blurred, on request by French authorities for "Secret Défense" reasons, which is RIDICULOUS since most military powers will already have all they need about such "sensitive" locations! Go figure!
