CK2 AGOT: Valyrian Miniseries | Ep3 "The Edge of Chaos"
59Welcome back ladies and gentlemen to the Valyrian miniseries, featuring the Improved Genetics 2.0 mod. Here we will explore what is possible with the new genetics system and maybe, just maybe, establish and ACTUAL Valyrian Empire. The greatest obstacle to this? The already established Freehold of Valyria.

The Improved Genetics 2.0 mod is available on the Steam Workshop and redesigns the genetic inheritance system of CK2. No longer are congenital traits treated as a 'per chance' inheritance and then discarded if the traits are not inherited but are now stored in a gene pool that your house or family draws from in future generations. The gist is, if you want to corner a certain congenital trait, you now can through generations of artificially selecting the desired traits. The more you do so, the more likely it is for the genes to express themselves and become 'dominant'. Introduce characters with no congenital traits or the opposite of the desired traits and the inverse takes place, the genes become more and more recessive till they cease to exist.

Crusader Kings 2 is a real time strategy game developed by Paradox Interactive and the Game of Thrones overhaul was developed by the CK2:AGOT development team. (At least that’s what it says on moddb)
Not sure which YouTuber got me into CKii or AGOT, but regardless, the amount of freedom and replayability that the game offers makes it utterly worthwhile purchasing.
