Clair Expedition 33 is a game that ought to go down in the history books as one of the best ever. It has some minor flaws, but these pale in comparisons to it's triumphs. Partially rewarded for coming out at a time where gamers were loathing the industry's new practices, such as 80-90 dollar games and long development times; Expedition 33 astounds on it's own merits as well. It's a game with a gripping story told extremely well, utilizing plot twists in effective ways and making sure that each character is fleshed out. The combat system is gripping and fast paced with constant level ups and new abilities to support the fun. Your ability to build characters how you want is extremely free; oh and the game looks remarkable too. What an achievement!
