Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 - We can't sequence break to endgame
Through the use of Mods (WeMod / NexusMods download), I'm able to jump super high and also gain access to Esquie early. As soon as I leave Spring Meadows and access the Overworld the first time, I try to see if I can skip to the endgame areas.
Looks like final Lumiere is not loaded properly. Curiously, if you go OoB in the Prologue Lumiere too, many of the environment assets are shared between at the start and the end of the game - though no triggers are found. No skip to Act III.
Trying to go to Act II is not as restrictive - the cutscene plays saying you need to beat the two islands to unlock the Barrier Breaker. It is unknown to me if this applies to a NG+ savefile too. Even if we abused some other OoB mechanic to get to that area, once we somehow get through one island and fell one Axon, we'd still be without the ability to move to the next island to grab the second, and just be stuck where we are. Possible Esquie's Swim ability is the minimum requirement to traverse around that area, though you'd need to find a way to OoB beyond the Corals that block the direct island path on a casual playthrough.
