Clair Obscure Expedition 33 / UEVR Mod with PSVR2 / A Cinematic Visual Experience
17Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 is a recently released cinematic looking "JRPG" that looks absolutely astounding in a VR headset. Today I am utilising the crisp visuals of the PSVR2 headset, which was sort of forced upon me.
So I'm going to look and see if we can get the game into first person, is it playable in 1st person or are we better just leaving it as a 3rd person game?
There are a fair few cutscenes at the start of this game and they look exceptional at times in the PSVR2, hence the title. But I did find that using OpenVR as my runtime in UEVR gave a far superior performance, because I was using a PSVR2 headset.
The version of UEVR I used for this video was the 1046 Nightly build, however, there is a newer version that has released since I uploaded this video.
