Classic Game Room Vs. Arcade Hunters: Gottlieb's Challenger!
32From PAPA 14 in Pittsburgh PA comes the ultimate slugfest in pinball! It's Mark from Classic Game Room Vs. Nick from Arcade Hunters in Gottlieb's Challenger!
Originally released in 1971 Challenger is a Vs. Head to Head Pinball Machine. Each player gets three turns and your goal is to try to score as many points as you can against the other player. If you can get the ball into your opponents goal you'll score 1000 points, but if the other player scores in your goal you loose control of the ball.
According to the Internet Pinball Database there were only 100 units of Challenger produced by Gottlieb. The only other place I know of with this machine is the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas Nevada.
