In the early 80's, Mercedes wanted to develop a Group B car based on their 500SLC, but things didn't go so well and they had to abandon the project before the car ever got to race. Maybe you guys can do it better!

Here's how to participate in this challenge:

1.Download the base car from here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lIqbmsr-NQiYHQipA7fFZe_bWhj9HHt3/view?usp=sharing
2. Copy that file into Documents/My Games/Automation/CarSaveImport and start Automation.
3. Select the car in your Sandbox, then click on "clone" and select "Clone Trim & Variant".
4. Set both the Trim and Variant year to 1982. You can only rename Trim and Variant
5. Follow the rules below

Can't engine swap
Can't change engine's family bore/stroke or valvetrain
If you want to go turbo, the variant's capacity can only be up to 3570cc (please see video) and max. boost is 1.2 bar
Fuel type: premium unleaded
Can't change body type (needs to stay a coupe)
Can't change headlights, taillights or main grille
Must have at least 1 set of auxiliary lights on the front, in addition to regular headlights. The stock "foglights" count.
Changing gearbox and drive type is allowed
Tyres: Up to 660mm per side (e.g. 325 front/335 rear, 305 front/355 rear)
2 seats only, no power steering, 70s Standard Safety
Any amount of quality points

Track 1: Italy Mixed Circuit (28th of June, 6pm CEST)
Track 2: Utah Old Mill Loop (4th of July, 6pm CEST)
Track 3: Pikes Peak Gravel (short) (5th of July, 6pm CEST)
