In this #masterpiecefriday edition of #thedailydoug, I'm continuing on my journey through Yes' 1973 double album Tales from Topographic Oceans. I have listened to The Revealing Science of God (Side 1) and The Remembering (Side 2) previously. Now, we're moving on to The Ancient (Giants Under the Sun) (Side 3). I found this track to be a fascinating (almost experimental) track. For me, it's Yes at their best, as they are looking to break down boundaries and expectations for what their style of music could be. Come along for the ride!
