Last night, Clouded Leopard Entertainment released yet another PC port of Trails of Cold Steel, based on the PS4 "Kai" version. It retails for $35 on the US Steam store.

The previous PC port, published by XSeed Games and developed by Austrian software consulting company PH3, was based off the PS3 version, but by any accounts, it was a solid PC port for $40.

This release is mainly aimed for the South Korean and Asian markets outside of Mainland China (for obvious reasons), as there is no English language option.

However, from preliminary examination and Steam user reviews, the CLE port is abysmal. From the lack of XInput support, to sound quality worse than Charles Martinet's voice sampling in the Super Mario Advance series, this port fails to stack up to PH3 Developer Durante's expertise in porting software across different platforms (while also adding new features too!).
