WARNING: Synergy is no longer part of the wizards skill tree and instead is bought after transcension as a perk. As a result the information here is a bit outdated, but the benefits of synergy will still be just as strong... Once you finally reach it.

I got my synergies up and running and this is the aftermath. Blowing through the second system without a problem.

The wizard uses all three synergies to allow for the use of all the spells in a rotation. which makes it easier to manage the fatigue stacks. I'm not sure if this is the optimal way to play, but it allows for me to push several systems at a time.
