Clock Tower 3, despite the name, is the 4th game under the Clock Tower name. The game is considerably different than its previous counterparts, as it's no longer a point and click adventure, but is more similar to Capcom's other survival horror games.

You play a young 14-year old girl named Alyssa Hamilton, who's been sent off to boarding school by her mom. Just shortly before her 15th birthday, she receives a letter from her mom to go into hiding. Around this same time, a phone call comes from her mom, but there is no answer on the other end. Worried, she returns home to find the place empty, save for a mysterious dark man. Thus her adventure begins...

Captain's Log, Stardate 62007.1
I entered into a mysterious time warp, sending me back to 1942 London. It was haunted by several ghosts and a big, fat, ugly guy with a sledgehammer. However, the guy was extremely dumb, so I smacked him with a chair. I also ran around without fear, boldly going where no girl had gone before.

I'll admit I'm a little clumsy walking across long wooden planks, but log, you gotta do what you gotta do in order to find a stupid pair of pliers.

Q1 -- Why in the hell is this game so DARK?!
A -- Ask Capcom. I actually had to turn the brightness up on my TV to full just to see anything. They list a "proper brightness" in the options menu, but it's purely bullshit. At "proper brightness" you can see jack.
