3Welcome to Spooktacular 2016!! In this halloween themed episode we play Clock Tower for the SNES. In this Clock Tower gameplay video we struggle through the first few scenes of the game, and do a very poor job.
Clock Tower was originally only released in Japan on the Super Famicom, in this gameplay video we play an English patch. The english patch does not help much as we suck.
We play Clock Tower as part of our 2016 Spooktacular, where we play spooky scary halloween games! We will do so all October.
I have always heard good things about Clock Tower, but this game is rough. It is a cross between a point and click, with a survival horror. And controls like a drunk combination of the two. Clock Tower does a lot of cool innovation, but it seems like it would require huge amounts of memorization to play through without dying. or getting frustrated and quitting.
In Clock Tower, a small kid with a giant pair of scissors randomly shows up and chases the main character around. In Clock Tower there is no way to attack, and running only helps so much, since the Scissorman can warp anywhere. Its kind of unfair. Also there is a parrot that sucks a big one.
