Rock n' Roll Racing Gameplay | SNES Rock And Roll Racing Game | CDPOG
Do you like F-Zero-ish racing with bleep bloops that sound like Rock songs your parents listened to? If so, then Rock n' Roll Racing for the SNES is the game for you!
In this Rock n' Roll Racing Gameplay video we play fully through the first circuit, and have a pretty good time doing it. The game has an almost RPG quality to it, where you can upgrade many different aspects of your car and also its special items, and the car itself. In Rock n' Roll Racing your playing some sort of future alien who needs to race cars in order to prevent the galaxy from being destroyed, or maybe not that last part. Theres some old rocks songs in it that I knew, and some that were familiar, but I couldn't remember. It was not always easy without the lyrics, and also done in MIDI basically.
I say in the beginning that Rock And Roll Racing is in the vein of F-Zero, but that isn't really true in terms of the gameplay, the game play is much more like the Micro Machines Racing game that came out on the NES, the upgrades and characters in what reminds me of F-Zero.
Anyways, Rock n' Roll Racing is pretty fun, and enjoyable. The ugrades scystem really made us want to play more. Oh yeah, and there are poorly done MIDI versions of some old music too. Cool.
