Cloned a 15 year old 1TB HDD to a 1TB SSD (Crucial MX500 1TB 3D NAND, £43.99 on Amazon 27 Nov 2023(Black Friday week deal?))
Used Clonezilla to clone it, some of the video's upside down because I didn't bother to check which way up I was filming it, and when I played them individually in VLC, VLC auto-corrected them to the right way up. It was only after joining the individual video's together that some of the video stayed upside down the way it was filmed.
Booted Clonezilla from a 16GB Cruzer Dial USB stick.
Used the default settings to start with, but it failed because of bad sectors, so I used advanced mode to use -restore to recover as much as possible, still lost some data.
