I was just kneeling by one of our olive trees when this one emerged from the leaf litter.

We have a bit of a resident yellow-faced whip snake on our property. While they are mildly venomous to humans and they're part of the Elapidae family of snakes, this video demonstrates that they really have no interest in attacking/fighting/chasing humans; they just want to go about their business without being harassesed.
