Containers, Kubernetes, Cloud Native, Microservices, Eclipse MicroProfile. It feels like you’re going to drown amongst the buzzwords! In this session we will guide the developer through the minefield of all these buzzwords to understand the concepts and develop solutions with them.

The session will provide the attendee with advice and tips for initial design of multiple microservices working together to deliver an application, through the development of each microservice piece to complete the entire application puzzle. Each microservice will utilize Eclipse MicroProfile to provide critical Cloud Native functionality such as tracing, metrics, health checks, security and fault tolerance. All the microservices will be deployed to a local Cloud environment with containers, showing how the development of microservices can be simplified.

By the end of the session the attendee will know how to create a series of microservices developed with Eclipse MicroProfile that are deployed to a local Cloud. All microservices working together to provide a cohesive single application.
