39A foundational concept in cloud security is the shared responsibility model. All major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) adhere to a shared security responsibility model, which means the companies using the cloud maintain some responsibilities for security as applications, data, containers, and workloads are moved to the cloud, while the cloud provider takes some responsibility, but not all. This session will provide an overview of what the shared responsibility model is and how it applies to understanding cloud security.
