This is why you should never fully rely on autodocking and auto launch! Look at this big freaking mess, all because couple players go to touch themselves and leave auto-whatever on.
If you use autodocking, then first fly inside the station and then enable it and always use manual launch (you can use auto launch only to automatically put landing gear in, works great for that purpose).
