Playing as Breacher.

This is a great example of not performing all that well, yet we blundered our way to a single attempt victory.

Here, I am still getting used to using an SMG as my loadout for the Breacher class. On top of that, I hadn't really played a proper shooter for over a week, so I felt a little out of sync what with all the distractions and obligations in the real world... so this match was a bit of a mess.

My death earlier on... I am not entirely sure it was caused by a teammate, but the damage taken from that friendly fire certainly contributes to my downfall. But considering the kooky grenade I threw near the first objective, it was probably a karmic thing.

There were a few surprising near misses in this too. The swarm at the end, moving into the objective zone was a bit disturbing to see... thankfully the timer ran out, otherwise that would have been death to an insta-bot-headshot... I'm sure of it!


I highly recommend this game. It's brutal and unforgiving, and very satisfying when you win. The weapons require real skill to handle (varying recoil/kick, actual bullet drop over distance, calibre-vs-material-penetration, etc). It has its issues like any game, but its well supported by a dedicated dev team that is committed to giving the game at least as long a lifespan as the first Insurgency... unlike some AAA trash franchises that get vomited out on a yearly basis for top $$$... ahem.
