Call of Duty Black Ops 6 comes from a fine lineage of COD's, the only real duffer by Treyarch standards was BLOPS 4, but that was because it had a restricted development time, and even then it was OK, and shipped with Blackout, the first COD Battle Royale.

Black Ops 6 feels to me like a solid COD - nothing springs out as being too bad - even the new "omni movement" can be predicted, and the gameplay and gunplay seem somewhere in-between Black Ops Cold War & Modern Warfare 3.

Of course the beauty of these Betas is that you don't need to take my word for it - try BLOPS 6 for yourself, and of course if you subscribe to Xbox Game Pass, you'll be getting it for "free" this year on console, and if you sub to ultimate or PC Game Pass, you'll get it there too.
