Arma Reforger since launch has had TERRIBLE gamepad controller key-bindings on Xbox Consoles & for PC players who prefer this way of playing, but I am incredibly happy to say that THEY HAVE FIXED IT!!!
Arma Reforger EXPERIMENTAL has the newest re-bindable control schemes for gamepad & keyboard & mouse, & I think it will be a game-changer for current, returning & new players.
Arma Reforger now has a mostly industry-standard FPS shooter gamepad configuration, with Y (or triangle on PlayStation) to swap weapons, double tap Y to go to your side-arm pistol, and to lean you click in the sticks.
Any console player familiar with PUBG, COD Call of Duty or Battlefield will now be able to play Arma Reforger on a gamepad & feel at home, because we can now change weapons with one button whilst moving!!!
It's so important that console players, and PC players that prefer their shooters with a gamepad, to give the Reforger Devs constructive feedback through the feedback tracker, so they can make the control scheme better, especially for the release of Arma 4!
