In this beginners guide tutorial video I show you my strategies and tactics to get a Three Plate Armored Vest in MW3 Zombies, while in the Tier 1 outside area of the map.
I use this method to gear up fast with one run, (normally after I've died and lost everything) so that I come out of it with a 3 Plate, Medium Backpack, Self Revive, a Score / Kill-Streak & usually at least one nice gun depending on how late and how many times I visit & hit the mystery box.
The key to this is that you're going to be doing Contracts that a SOLO can safely do when not that geared up, which are Eliminate The Bounty, Raid Weapon Stash, Spore Control & Outlast, obviously in the Tier One area of the map.
Then, unless you find them as you go, you're going to buy a medium backpack, self-revive and a 2-Plate Vest if you've got enough money.
If you find or buy at least TWO Gas-Masks you can then try to get a Mercenary Stronghold Key for free by clearing an Infested Stronghold, or simply buy one at a buy-station.
