Hey guys how’s it going? My name is Majerecarn and today I wanted to talk about the COD points in Black Ops 3

First of all I think that they are way too overpriced but if people are buying them then it’s not like the price will drop. What I noticed earlier is that they recently added the 13,000 COD points that you could buy for £89.99 (I’m not sure how much it is in dollars), but let me just do the maths quickly for you and tell me if I’m wrong with any of this

Let’s start at the 200 COD points, £1.60 each, if you buy 5 lots of these then you get 1,000 points for £8 so it’s better in this case to buy the 1,100 for £7.99

1,100 points, £7.99 each, if you buy two lots of these, you will get 2,200 points for £15.98, for an extra penny you can get 2,400 points so you might as well go for that

Same type of thing with the 2,400 points, 15.99 each, buy two lots of these for £31.98 and you will have 4,800 points, for an extra penny again you will get the 5,000 points

But this is where I think Activision messed up a little with the pricing, either that or they like to rip us off. Because, if you buy two lots of the 5,000 points at £31.99 each you will have 10,000 points for £63.98, you now only need 3,000 points to match the most expensive one so let’s do that.

With the £63.98 we have spent, let’s add one of the 2,400 points for £15.99, making our total spent £79.97 for 12,400 points. If we then purchase the 1,100 for £7.99, we would have spent £87.96 for 13,500 points.

So with my calculations, if you buy the 13,000 points then you’re getting ripped off because for an extra 500 points you can save yourself £2.03 which doesn’t sound like a big difference but why would you want to spend more for less which is exactly what this is

Like I said please point out any errors I may have made but this to me is all correct and I urge you if you are going to buy them then please avoid paying the £89.99 in one go
