Hey guys how’s it going? My name is Majerecarn and today we are going to be looking at a few frames right at the end of the Zetsubou No Shima trailer to determine where the starting room will be.

Now this isn’t the clearest as the trailer has fast cuts on it but slowed down you can sorta get an idea of the area we might be starting out in. If you go to the very end of the trailer, where the Thrasher is, pausing the video and going frame by frame you can see in the background is the Sheiva and the Quick Revive machine

To me this doesn’t look like what everybody else was speculating about being washed ashore, however like I said because this trailer had fast paced cuts it’s hard to get an idea of the whole area where the Thrasher is in at that time, for instance we only see this area from this one perspective, but if the character was to turn around, there may be a shore right behind him so that’s still very much a possibility.

Now I will also say I cannot confirmed if that is definitely the Quick Revive machine as it could just be lighting on some rocks but I’m just going to say that it is because in every starting room we have had so far we get the Sheiva and RK5 as the weapons (hence the Sheiva behind the Thrasher) and we’ve also had the Quick Revive with the exception of The Giant.

Although saying that it could just be lighting on a rock is odd because just looking at it you can tell that it looks a little out of place for the setting of an overgrown jungle on an island.
