Making bayonets good as a slashing weapon is very difficult to do. Fortunately, Eva's communal is a great option all the time for every weapon. As her ability to increase the light value of a Revenant by 50% is considerable, the Revenant is still at the mercy of the enemies around them. Since this setup will rely only on one ability set to increase the damage with zero AoE, it is a very dangerous and risky endeavor. Without the Eos Chrome, this would fall flat and be exceptionally worthless. However, the Eos Chrome on the bayonet allows for a great increase of the Revenant's power. There is enough damage to end most enemies within the 4-attack string of the bayonet. For the Successor fight, we had several close calls, but it was apparent that only a few more timely dodges were required.
