Here I am playing the Lost Levels on Doom 64 CE with a couple mods! First I have Project Void loaded in, which adds many additional monsters and weapons which randomly swap in. Then I add corruption cards on top, which add random level and enemy modifiers. I am playing a custom mode where I get 8 permanent cards per level (the maximum). Things can get quite hard, so I balance it by playing on Be Gentle difficulty! Oh and I put my color dithering filter, Bandither, on top to make things crunchy. To recap its corruption cards (C), project void (V), on Be Gentle with 8 permanent cards, thus CVBG8 challenge!

I chose the Lost Levels because there are only 6 levels, and the BG8 challenge was too difficult for me to reach hell in regular Doom 64. So only 6 levels makes it much more feasible. In one sense Project Void makes it harder, because there are tougher enemies, but also it offsets the corruption cards to other enemy types, and that is a bit easier. Overall the challenge did have a few tricky spots, but it wasn't as hard as I thought! The "Be Gentle" difficulty meant I had plenty of ammo and was never in risk of running out. Perhaps this means this challenge could be upped to "Hurt Me Plenty" difficulty? Thus a CVHMP8 challenge! Who will do it first?
